My sister and her family were spending their vacation in a summer cottage in Brittany with a spare room (=mine for a few days 😊). Brittany has an astondishing landscape and people, weather not so great for riding but still fine in summer. And nothing beats a fresh pain au chocolat for breakfast and oysters for lunch. Going there is a bit boring around Paris region, but on the road you also find stunning nature, buildings, culinary craft and even race tracks.
